VacGlaze™ Vacuum Insulated Double Glazing boosts the overall performance of all existing aluminium or timber windows and doors.
The combination of Toughened Safety Glass, Vacuum Insulated Gap and Low ‘E’ Toughened Safety Glass delivers Superior Protection against outside Heat and Cold and Enhanced Acoustic Performance.

Not all double glazing is the same. VacGlaze™ U 0.7 Rated Double Glazing delivers three times the Thermal Performance of standard double glazing.

VacGlaze™ stands apart from traditional double glazing – The air between the two glazing panes is completely extracted creating a true Vacuum Seal to achieve Maximum Energy Efficiency and Superior Thermal Performance.
Unlike traditional insulating methods that lose effectiveness over time, VacGlaze™ Vacuum Sealed Insulated Gap maintains its performance for the long term — ensuring superior performance and lifelong thermal efficiency.

VacGlaze™ includes an interior pane of Toughened Safety Glass with Low ‘E’ to further enhance the year round energy efficiency and performance of your windows.
Low ‘E’ is a transparent nano-metallic coating that is infused onto the interior pane of toughened safety glass to further enhance the performance of your windows in Summer & Winter.
Low ‘E’ reflects harsh direct sunlight and UV away from your home in Summer while reflecting your indoor generated heat back into your home in Winter to deliver life long savings on heating & cooling bills.

Low ‘E’ includes an exterior pane of Toughened Safety Glass which undergoes a heat treatment process that gives it its strength.
Toughened Glass, also known as tempered glass is four to five times stronger than standard glass. This means it can withstand greater impact without breaking.
The Toughened Glass combined with Low ‘E’ is able to absorb UV rays and delivers the added benefit of UV reduction to guard against fading of your furnishings and interior surfaces.

GLASS CONDENSATION
Moisture build up can occur on the inside surface of single glass when indoor heat escapes and the outside air temperature is colder than the temperature inside of the room.
Double Glazing your windows will substantially reduce unwanted condensation as well as the associated moisture and water damage, mildew, mould and associated health impacts to create a warmer, healthier and drier home.
How does the thermal spacer (Vacuum Insulated Gap) combat condensation?
VacGlaze™ Double Glazing features two panes of glass separated by a vacuum sealed void with all air removed to effectively create a superior insulating barrier between the outside and inside temperature of the room.
RADIANT HEAT (direct sunlight)
Solar Heat Transfer in Double Glazing is measured by the units Solar Heat Gain Coefficient (SHGC) which is the % of solar radiation entering a room.
Radiant Heat is the heat generated by direct sunlight through a window system. VacGlaze® Superior Double Glazing has a SHGC of 0.56.
VacGlaze™ double glazing effectively addresses radiant heat transfer into your home by reflecting 43% of solar radiation away from your home to reduce glare and Solar Heat Gain.
VacGlaze™ further boosts the thermal performance of your double glazing in colder days by reflecting the Infrared Heat you generate through your heating system back into your home in Winter.
VLT is a measure of Visible Light that is transmitted through a material.
VacGlaze™ Clear
VLT: 80% SHGC: 0.56
TwinGlaze® Clear allows 80% of outside light into the home and blocks 43% of Solar Radiation from Entering the Home.
VacGlaze™ Tinted
VLT: 38% SHGC: 0.54
TwinGlaze® Tinted allows 38% of outside light into the home and blocks 46% of Solar Radiation from Entering the Home.
VacGlaze utilises Low E Coating which achieves a reduction in UV Radiation from entering the home as it reflects the radiant solar heat that is emitted by the sun.
It can protect from UV Radiation which can help reduce fading of floors and interior furnishings.
